The Socioeconomic Development of Indian Community Unit (SEDIC) was designated as an implementation entity for the Malaysian Indian Blueprint (MIB). SEDIC was restructured in line with the focus areas and initiatives defined in the Blueprint to uplift the socioeconomic status of the Indian community, especially B40.


Skills Training Programme : Call for Applications

The Socioeconomic Development of Indian Community Unit (SEDIC) has selected certified Private Skills Training Institutes (ILKS) to conduct FREE training courses to assist and uplift the socioeconomic status of the Indian community, especially from the B40 group.  All listed courses are fully sponsored by SEDIC under the Prime Minister’s Department. Selected participants are exempted from paying any fees.

A total number of 29 private skills training institutes have been selected to run these FREE courses throughout Peninsular Malaysia for 2018/2019.

All Malaysian Indians who are interested in participating in skills training are invited to apply for the various courses made available.

Applications must be submitted online via the official application system specified on the SEDIC, JPM portal.
